Sculpture Exhibition at Rosemoor

Rosemoor is a large garden run by the Royal Horticultural Society. It is fairly near our home in North Devon and Maggie and I visit it fairly regularly.

For the months of December 2009 and January and February 2010, Rosemoor put on a Winter Exhibition of outdoor Sculpture. Maggie and I went to see this in January 2010, and very much enjoyed many of the exhibits.

It was a very cold day, with a scattering of snow on the ground, and when we arrived, the light was dull, interspersed with occasional showers. However, it brightened up in the afternoon, and I spent an enjoyable day photographing many of the exhibits.

This gallery contains a selection of the images from that visit. Based on the brief catalogue provided, I've made my best attempt to show the correct title of the work, and the name of the artist - if I have wrongly titled or attributed any piece of work, I will happily make corrections if you let me know. Most of the sculptures were for sale, but I have no contact with the artists; if you are interested in any of them, I can only suggest that you contact Rosemoor directly.

Michael Kusz, creator of the Skyjack sculpture, has a web site displaying more of his work here.
